As more jobs start on site, both at Graven Hill and other locations around Oxfordshire, and with even more almost ready to start becoming a reality, we are feeling optimistic about the new year. We’re involved in all sorts of different capacities when our clients go on site, depending on what suits them. We can engage with the contractors once a week, by doing contract admin, or come in to check on a less regular basis with site intervention, making sure the designs we worked with our clients to create are being realized faithfully in construction. If you want to find out a little more about what the process of getting on site is really like, why not read the second installment of our Graven Hill Journeys blog? Stef and Pauline have just started the work on site for their dream Graven Hill self-build project.
As always, at a firm like ours, pretty much every part of the designing and building process is happening in the office at the same time, in different jobs. For example, our new designs for a stylish and modern build (that can be seen below) are at concept design stage, developing into exactly what our clients want from their build. Why not have a look at the broad range of different styles we design for by looking through our projects page?
And whilst we are not in the office, we are still keeping in touch with each other and keeping the team spirit going! It’s always great to hear of news from the office. Something especially of note at the moment is our associate, Nikki, is currently training for a charity run challenge she is completing in May (running 10km a day for the WHOLE month!) to raise money and awareness for Charcot Marie Tooth Disease. Find out more about this important cause at this link.
